Today: a personal trainer who makes $60,000 a year
Occupation: personal trainer
Age: 30
Location: New York
Salary: $60,000 (approx. $1,850 per pay period)
Day One
Working as a personal trainer is really fun because of the variety of clients you get to work with. And it’s really rewarding when you help people achieve their fitness goals. They see themselves getting stronger and feel happier and more confident. I love coming up with individualized workout regimens for different types of people. I mistakenly left my protein shake at home and dropped by a health food store for a protein smoothie for lunch.

Day Two
The other day, a client asked me about testosterone supplements. It’s always better to consult a doctor before making any major lifestyle changes or adding any supplements to your diet. I did some research into the best testosterone supplements. These supplement capsules are meant to improve mood, boost testosterone production, and promote the growth of muscle mass. It’s also important to use supplements with high-quality natural ingredients to help with higher energy and better focus. I ordered groceries online to have delivered to my door.
Total: $78.12
Day Three
I had a few clients today but finished work by 12. I decided to go home and do a lot of my meal prep. Then, I looked into my investment portfolio and did some research on Alamos Gold Inc. AGI is a gold miner that does underground exploration drilling. They have a gold mining project in both Canada and Mexico. I checked Alamos Gold‘s performance on the NASDAQ.

Day Four
One of my friends, S., came in for a session today, and it was nice to have someone I knew. We caught up on the latest and ended the session a little early to keep talking. We talked about our career goals and decided to have dinner together the next day.

Day Five
Today, I had a new client. So, we did a little bit of an assessment and discussed their goals, what they wanted to accomplish by a certain time period, and talked about other issues they experienced with past trainers. With these assessments, I kind of just prioritize getting to know the client and learning more about their relationship with their body. Some people don’t really have particular fitness goals and just want to work on their overall health. After work, I met up with S. for dinner. We had pizza and beer. It was a great time!
Total: $31
Day Six
After work, I decided to meet up with one of my buddies, J., to shop for some new clothes. It’s always nice to refresh your wardrobe once in a while. I’ve been looking to try on some shoes that I saw online. When you work out a lot, you go through shoes and workout clothes pretty often. J. and I went to a popular shoe store. After trying them on, I decided to get the shoes.
Total: $68
Day Seven
I had a full day off today! I decided to take the time to stretch and go for a light jog at my favorite park. It’s always nice to get fresh air when the weather is fair. I got a smoothie on the way home just to replenish those lost calories and recover. At home, I finished the last of my meal prep and made a note to do some more cooking the following day with the groceries I had left.
